A few pics from our show at the Great British Rhythm & Blues festival in Colne. Our first time on one of the main stages (the Muni) - a lovely crowd and a fun day, watching some of the other excellent acts on show.
Thanks to Stephen from Solid Ents for recommending us, and to the Colne committee for putting us on. It’s a great festival!
📍 The Muni Theatre 🗓️ Sunday 30th August ⏰ 18:30 - 19:30
Backbone Blues Band has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way – by delivering memorable live shows wherever they play.
From blues clubs and festivals across the UK to iconic venues in America’s Deep South, including the legendary King Biscuit Blues Festival and Ground Zero Blues Club, the band has taken its music to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.
Mixing original songs with carefully chosen blues classics, Backbone combines first-class musicianship with a genuine love of entertaining. Whether playing an intimate club or a festival stage, they know exactly how to get a crowd on their side.Backbone Blues Band has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way – by delivering memorable live shows wherever they play.

Next up for us is the Colne festival on 30 August, when we’re playing at the excellent ‘Muni’ venue, at 6.30pm. It’s a brilliant festival with music on every corner over the Bank Holiday weekend. It would be great to see you there.
Here’s a short video the organisers asked for, filmed whilst we were rehearsing a couple of new songs to try out at the festival.
