It seems likely that one of the most recognisable songs in the blues canon, about a certain house of Ill-repute in New Orleans, will get aired twice next Saturday night. Although made famous by The Animals, House of the Rising Sun dates back over 100 years, possibly as an English folk song.

Fabulous night last night at Reading Blues Club. Lovely crowd, brilliant support from star in the making Thomas Heppell. It would have been a hometown gig for Duncan, so it was fitting to include several of his fine songs in the set.
We wish Neil every success in the future with the club - it’s a great set up. Thanks to Simon too for the excellent sound!
